Struka villa is a spacious picturesque log-wood villa in Pyhtää, only about an hour’s drive from Helsinki. This beautiful villa is a well equipped holiday destination designed for recreational purposes for families, for group of friends and for small business meetings. The villa is equipped with all amenities and it is suitable for year-round holidays. Struka holiday home is located right by the river and the cottage is surrounded by a beautiful garden and grassy grounds. In connection with the rental cottage there are extensive terraces, a swimming dock, a gazebo, a wood-heated riverside sauna and a Hot Outdoor Tub for rent.

Luxurious villa, prefect place for parties in southern Finland, 100 km from Helsinki

Struka rental villa is a spacious and bright cabin suitable for holidays, parties, meeting and recreational needs. The cabin is located in southern Finland in Kymenlaakso, about 100 km east of Helsinki. About 30 km from Kotka. In this well-located large cabin, you can gather a larger group to meet, celebrate or spend time together next to the nature. The villa’s equipment and services guarantee you and the company’s employees the best possible framework for both work and recreation.

This wonderful log cabin is located on the bank of a gently flowing river, surrounded by the green nature of Pyhtää. The cabin has its own peace, even though Kivokoski cottage is only about 70 meters away from villa Struka. There is no direct sight to the neighboring cottage from the yard. Rent a cottage for the weekend or stay the whole week enjoying the saunas, rowing and relaxing in the nature!

Villa Struka offers accommodation for 12-16 people

• Living room: High-ceilinged space with a fireplace, a large sofa, and armchairs
• Dining area: Dining table for 10 people
• Kitchen: Well-equipped kitchen – dishwasher, fridge and freezer, beverage fridge, stove, oven, microwave, coffee and kettle, toaster. Tableware and comprehensive serving dishes for 16 people. The cottage also has wine and champagne glasses. Dish-washing detergents are included in the rental.
• 3 bedrooms on the ground floor:
  • Bedroom 1: King-size bed, 180cm wide
  • Bedroom 2: Two separate 80 cm beds (can be combined into a double bed)
  • Bedroom 3: Two separate 80 cm beds (can be combined into a double bed)
• Loft (upstairs):
  Six separate 80 cm beds, of which two are located side by side. There is also some floor space for extra mattresses or for accommodating children.
  Pool table
• Sleeping alcove above the sauna:
  Four 80 cm wide beds, of which two are located side by side. Access is via an outdoor ladder, suitable especially for young and agile guests.
• Washrooms:
  • Shower room with two showers. Small dressing room adjacent to the washroom.

• Indoor sauna:
  Wood-heated sauna.

A grassed courtyard with a hot tub

The Struka riverside-villa has large terraces and a grassed courtyard. The cottage is facing south-west and the courtyard is nice and sunny, surrounded with some flowers and shrubs. On the terrace there are garden furniture, a gas grill and tables for outdoor dining. On the grassed courtyard there is a gazebo with a gas grill and by the river there is also a Hot Outdoor Tub available for rent.

From the villa sauna there is a path to the beach with a pier. The pier has a bathing ladder. The river flow is weak, so swimming and bathing is comfortable. The river bottom in the end of the pier has large stones and it is muddy, but it is steep enough for bathing.

Struka villa has a small wood-heated cottage sauna and a separate large riverside sauna. The cottage sauna is included in the price, the riverside sauna can be rented separately for an additional price of 45 eur / day. Learn more and instructions about the riverside sauna here

There is a cozy terrace and a campfire in front of the riverside sauna. Direct access to the pier from the terrace. There is a swimming ladder to the water from the pier. The flow of the river is light, so bathing is good. There is also a small separate bathing cove on the right side of the pier, which is also suitable for small children.

Struka villa also offers boating and fishing opportunities. Rowing boat is included in the cottage rental at no extra charge. When you also book the Kivikoski rental cottage, you have 2 rowing boats at your disposal. The river usually flows slowly, and you can also take a rowing boat or canoe on the river. Struka villa is suitable for all year around holidays

Struka Villa is a warm, cozy log-wood cottage that is suitable for holidays and for family gatherings all year round. The river often stays open throughout December, and what’s more comfortable than dipping in the refreshing river after the warm hot tub. In January, the river often freezes, but even though the flow is low, be careful when moving on the ice. If you wish, you can make an opening in the ice at the end of the pier.
