Villa Skitunäs is a fantastic holiday destination for you and for your family and friends or for business meetings and for recreational purposes in Pyhtää, only about an hour’s drive from Helsinki. Skitunäs seaside cottage is located on the sea front in a beautiful wooded grassy plot. The villa is equipped with all amenities and the villa is suitable for use year-round holidays. The rental cottage is surrounded by extensive terraces and there is a boat dock, stony beach and barbecue hut.

A large cottage for fishing, relaxation or a party place
The Skitunäs rental villa is located in the heart of nature, right on the seashore. A dense pine forest grows all around, which offers great outdoor experiences both in summer and winter. In front of the cottage, the the sea opens all the way to Loviisa, and the sea offers wonderful nature experiences to visitors all year round. You can row and swim and in winter enjoy the snowy winter landscapes.
A large seaside cottage offers a pleasant setting to relax, hold meetings and celebrate even with a larger group. The Skitunäs cottage is a perfect place for a bachelor party and also a good option as a venue for, for example, birthday parties or small-scale family gatherings. The neighbors are behind a small forest, but quite close, so please remember to respect the peace of others, especially outside.
Skitunäs villa has accommodation in one large cottage
The Skitunäs seaside villa has a large lounge with a fireplace, kitchen, dining room, four bedrooms, sauna, shower, a dressing room and two toilets. A large mezzanine with sleeping facilities and a pool table. Two verandas opening onto the sea. The living area has a direct view of the sea.
Skitunäs villa is best for 10-12 people, but we have some spare mattresses on the loft. Blankets and pillows for 15 people. Possibility to rent bed linen and towels.
- Downstaitrs 3 twin bedrooms with two beds located next to each other. In two of the bedrooms the beds can also be located separately if wanted.
- 1 small bedroom above sauna that has a 120 cm wide bed. This room is accessible from the sauna terrace by a ladder.
- On the loft there are 5 x 80 cm beds and a pool-table
A well-equipped kitchen and a separate dining area
Skitunäs villa has a well-equipped kitchen with a set of dishes and cutlery for at least 14 people. The kitchen has a stove, dish-washing machine and a washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker and electric kettle. The separate dining area has a large dining table for 10-12 people.
Two saunas, a washing room with a toilet and a separate toilet
The rental cottage has a small, cozy sauna. The sauna bench is about 1.8 meters long, so it is suitable for 3-4 people. The sauna has a wood-burning stove, washroom with shower and a toilet. The cottage also has a separate toilet in the entrance hall, by the bedrooms.
In addition to the cottage sauna, Skitunäs has a separate wood-heated sauna by the sea. The seashore sauna is suitable for around 10 people and is located right by the sea. Mökkisaunan lisäksi Skitunäsissä on erillinen puulämmitteinen rantasauna aivan meren äärellä. Rantasauna on rantakalliolle hinattu tyylikäs kärrysauna, johon mahtuu kerrallaan noin 10 kylpijää. Rantasaunassa voit nauttia pehmeistä löylyistä ja upeasta merinäköalasta. Sauna edustalla on myös pieni vilvoitteluterassi. Kuvia ja lisätietoa rantasaunastamme oheisesta rantasauna-linkistä. Grassy yard and a beach with a pier
Skitunäs villa is located right on the seafront. The cottage yard is grassy, fairly natural seafront courtyard which opens to the west. The villa has a large veranda with outdoor dining to about 8-10 people. The sauna terrace has a separate seating area for four and next to the main entrance there is a gas grill and possibility for outdoor dining. Right by the sea there is also a seaside terrace and a nice campfire area for bigger groups. More chairs can be found in the warehouse. The yard also has a log-wood barbecue hut. In the hut there are benches and space for 8-10 people.
Pier with a swimming ladder
From the sauna premises there are gentle stairs to the beach and to the pier. The pier is built high on the stones due to sea level height variations. In the end of the pier there is bathing ladder. Water depth at the end of the pier is about 1 meter, so do not jump from the pier into the water. The beach is shallow and deepens gradually, so it is also suitable for use by children. On the left side of the pier there is a sandy beach with some fist-sized stones. In the end of the pier the ocean bottom is a natural sandy, fairly hard bottom.
Skitunäs rental cottage also offers opportunities for boating and fishing. A rowing boat is included in the cottage rent at no extra charge. A small boat ramp has been built on the shore for the rowing boat. Due to sea level elevations, it is important to pull the boat up after each use so that rising water does not damage the boat on the cliff. There is also a buoy available on the beach.
Pets are welcome to Villa Skitunäs holiday home
If you wish, you can usually bring pets to Skitunäs cottage. Pets are allowed for an extra charge of EUR 10 per pet, per day. Please inform our customer service about all the pets at the time of booking.
If you decide to clean the cottage yourself after your holiday, please make sure that you vacuum also the sofas and armchairs catefully. And if your pet causes damage to the cottage, please contact our customer service immediately.
Skitunäs villa available for rent all year around
Skitunäs holday home is an isolated, warm logwood cottage and it is also suitable for holidays and accommodation in winter. The sea will often remain open until January, but the bathing ladder will be taken away as early as the end of November due to the potential risk of freezing. If you wish, you can make an opening at the end of the pier.

“We went to this house for the New Year holidays for 5 days. Everything was wonderful. Very convenient location, a couple of tens of kilometers away is a large supermarket PRISMA. The house was as clean as possible for the house, which most often guests clean themselves. I had to wipe the kitchen, but we were absolutely ready for this. The house has very soft furniture and smart internet. Heating, coupled with air conditioning, can create the necessary air temperature. It is worth noting that the sauna is heated very quickly. The house has board games and billiards, which certainly brightens up the evenings. I would especially like to note the gazebo with the skins of wild animals. In it we easily fried meat and just spent a cool evening, we didn’t want to leave. The hostess stayed in touch through the what’s app throughout our stay. The welcome booklet described in detail how to contact her. The surrounding forest is especially beautiful. They found a couple of paths in it, walked around, and got incredible pleasure. “The cottage location was really good, a short distance and a clear route to the capital region. The cottage was in good condition and clean and very well equipped. The yard is nice and the scenery is great. Although the weather was not very warm and the cottage is on the seafront, we were able to sit on a cliff and enjoy the lovely warm sunshine. Tthe cottage can accommodate 12 people, but the sauna is a bit small. It would have been fun to go to the sauna together. The neighboring cottages are close an described in the villa presentation. Bookings
In the calendar you can see the reservations for Villa Skitunäs. When there is a colored bar “Booking xxxxx”, the cabin is booked for that day and until 12 noon the next day. If there are no entries, the cottage can be reserved from 4 pm. You can get exact prices from the “check availability and book” link below.
After you have made a reservation in our booking system and you have a reservation number, you can view your reservation on the “book Skitunäs” page. At the bottom of the page is the section “my reservations”, where you can enter your reservation number.
